Summer butterflies

Beautiful butterflies on a background of Nuance.
On some parts of the background I applied gesso with an old credit card, so that those gesso parts will resist the Nuance.

Also the butterflies are colored with Nuance and I have applied some "Hologram" crystal gel onto it. Than added a layer of UTEE (ultra thick embossing powder)

Butterflies are Summertime!

Butterflies means Summertime!
And I love summer and butterflies :-)

The butterflies are heat embossed with white embossing powder and colored with Nuance. To give the background some interest I added several stamps and a stencil

Go with the flow

In May Bianca and me (Mariette) were teaching stamping workshop in the Netherlands and this one of the cards we have been teaching.

The technique used is called gesso resist and the background is build up with stamps and stencil in combination of distress inks.
