Resist techniek met clear embossing

De muziekstempel afgedrukt met versamark en clear embossed. Met wild honey distress inkt erover heen sponzen en langs de randen accenten aangebracht met aged mahony en walnut stain. De grasjes zijn gestempeld met crushed olive en aged mahony.

Het bruine cardstock bestempeld met de plaid background met colorbox frost white en een sierrandje geponst.
De bloemen zijn gekleurd met distress inkten wild honey, aged mahony en crushed olive.
Met deze kaart heb ik met de Lily Pad resist tehnique challenge mee gedaan

Hero Arts stamps: CL430, G5311, CG222, CL139, S5447

The music stamp is stamped with versamark and clear heat embossed. Sponged with wild honey distress ink and around the sites with aged mahony and walnut stain. The grasses are stamped with crushed olive and aged mahony.

The plaid background stamp is stamped with colorbox frost white on the brown cardstock and punched a swirl border.

The flowers are colored with distress inks wild honey, aged mahony and crushed olive.

Voor de vlinders heb ik het achtergrond papier gebruikt van de restjes van de demonstratie-dag

Achtergrond is bewerkt met gesso en gesponst met distress inkten: wild honey, crushed olive en broken china.
De bloemen zijn ook ingekleurd met dezelfde kleuren distress inkt, uitgeknipt, opgebold en voorzien van een liquid pearl parel.




Background is painted with gesso and sponged with distress inks wild honey, crushed olive and broken china.
The flowers are also colored with the same distress inks, cutted out and dry embossed and added a liquid pearl gem.

Gerbera's

Gebruikte stempels:

In de weer geweest met gesso en distress inkten. Getracht om een stempel af te drukken in een laagje gesso, niet helemaal goed gelukt maar het geeft wel een leuk effect, helaas niet goed te zien op de foto.



I have been playing with gesso and distress inks. Tried to stamp an image in a small layer of gesso, but I did not succeed  totally, but it gives a nice touch. Unfortunately the picture doesn't catch it.

Beterschap Maysem

Het dochtertje van mijn collega is erg ziek en ondergaat momenteel chemokuren. Ik heb geen kinderstempels maar met kleur kun je ook heel veel doen; kleine prinsesjes houden nu eenmaal van roze!

The little girl of my collegue is very ill and receives chemo treatment. I do not have child themed stamps but you can do a lot with colors; little princesses do love pink!

Grote vlinder

Een simpel en snel kaartje gemaakt met een restje van de demodag afgelopen zaterdag.
Het restje is bestempeld met hero arts stempels en de grote vlinder is ingekleurd met distress inkten en uitgeknipt.
Gemat op blauw karton, welke ik eerst is bestempelt met de plaid background van Hero Arts met versamark. Wat pearls, gems en distress stickles maken het geheel compleet.

A quick and easy card made with a scrap from last Saterdays demo. Stamped the scrap with some Hero Arts stamps and colored the large butterfly with distress inks and cut it out. The plaid background stamp from Hero Arts has been stamped with versamark on the blue cardstock. Added some pearls, gems and distress stickles.

Demonstratie dag

Afgelopen zaterdag heb ik bij Jorbeau in Ouddorp een demonstratie "werken met distress inkten" gegeven. Ik heb hiervan genoten; het is zo leuk om mensen enthousiast te maken voor het stempelen. Heerlijk !

Helaas waren de stempels waar ik mee zo gaan demonstreren niet voorradig en moest ik ter plekke improviseren met stempels die wel aanwezig waren. En dat is goed gelukt! Het gaat natuurlijk om de technieken maar het oog wilt ook wat.

Last Saterday I demonstrated "working with distress inks" at Jorbeau in Ouddorp. I really enjoyed it; it gives you a good feeling to get people enthousiastic for stamping. Lovely!
Unfortunately the stamps I should be demonstrating with where not there and I had to improvise at the spot with the available stamps they had. But this has turned out great! It's all about the techniques but it needs to be eyecatchers as well.
