Art Journal page - druiven

Nog een paar weekjes tot de druiven rijp zijn in de kas op de tuin.

Maar zo lang kan ik niet wachten :-)

Druiven gekleurd met de polychoroms potloden.
Op de achtergrond Cadence rusty patina paint door een stencil aangebracht voor extra structuur.
Achtergrond bewerkt met Nuance pigment poeders en Neocolors.

Art Journal - vissen

Ge-inspireerd door Kate Crane ben ik aan de slag gegaan met deze Art Journal pagina. Ik had nog een achtergrondje liggen van een gelli plate sessie met Nuance en acrylverf. Zie mijn post hier: blogpost kadoosje

Inspired by Kate Crane I start creating this Art Journal page. I still had a background in my stash from an gelli plate session with Nuance and acrylic paint. See my post about that here: blogpost kadoosje

Die achtergrond heb ik in stroken gesneden en geplakt op de pagina en nog verder bewerkt met distress crayons en de randen met Cadence stone effect paint.

I did cut the background in strokes and glued it onto the past and did some extra coloring with distress crayons. Also added dimension around the edges with the Cadence stone effect paint.

De vissen, mooie golden oldies stempels van Magenta uit 2008,  zijn ingekleurd met de Polychromos potloden.

The golden oldies fish stamps from Magenta out of 2008 are colored with the Polychromos pencils.

Hier is goed te zien wat het stone effect van de Cadence verf doet en zie je ook de stroken duidelijk met hier en daar wat goudfolie erop.

Here you can see clearly what the texture effect is of the Cadence stone paint and you can see the strokes with some gold foil here and there.

Magenta CAS kaart

Vandaag een CAS kaartje, zwart wit met een beetje kleur.

 


De sketchy bloem uit de nieuwe collectie van Magenta gestempeld en gemaskerd, zodat daarna de bubbeltjes plastic en poststempel afgedrukt kon worden op de achtergrond.

Daarna ingekleurd met kleurpotloden

Condoleance kaartjes

Laatst zag ik een stijlvolle kaart ergens op internet in de kleuren combinatie zacht roze op een grijze achtergrond. 

En nu ik een condoleance kaartje nodig had deze combi als inspiratie gebruikt.

De dogwood tak (Magenta) is op deze kaart met WOW silver hologram sparkle ge-embossed. Ingekleurd met Faber Castell polychromos potloden.

En op dit kaartje is de tak met zwart gestempeld. De tekst is van Nellie Snellen

Bubbles transformation

Soms moet je eens iets totaal anders uitproberen.
Het kleuren van edelstenen is helemaal in op het moment.
Sometimes you need to try something totally different.

Coloring gemstones are hot these days.

Dus ik dacht waarom niet de zeepbellen stempel omtoveren tot edelstenen...

So I thought why not using the soap bubbles stamp and transform it into gemstones....

Here is the result

De bellen zijn iingekleurd met de Polychromos potloden en highlights gezet met ee witte gelpen.
Bubbels are colored with Polychromos pencils and added some highlights with a white gelpen.

Insecten

Stencilen met gesso, een vrij makkelijke techniek in combinatie met distress inkten. Op de kaart heb ik gesso aangebracht op het kippengaas stencil.

Stenciling with gesso, an easy resist technique in combination with distress ink. On this card I adhered gesso on the chicken wire stencil.

De achtergrond is opgebouwd met stempels en stencils. De insecten gekleurd met polychromos kleurpotloden.

The background is build up with stamps and stencils.
The insects are colored with colored pencils.

Edelstenen tekenen en kleuren. Ook leuk om te doen!

Ingekleurd met polychromos potloden en rondom maar wat gedoodled.

Lach en geniet!

Nuance bloemen op een achtergrond van distress inkt.

De bloemen zijn met versamark gestempeld en ge-embossed met witte embossing poeder. De bloemen ingekleurd met Nuance Aquamarine en iets meer detail aangebracht met polychromos potloden.

The flowers are stamped with versamark and heatset with white embossing powder. Colored the flowers with Nuance Aquamarine and added some fine details with polychromos pencils.

De zeepbellen zijn ook afgedrukt met versamark en met witte embossingpoeder verhit. Details toegevoegd met de polychromos kleurpotloden.

The soapbubbles are also stamped with versamark and heatset with a white embossing powder. Added some details to it with the polychromos pencils as well.
The Dutch sentiment means: Laugh and enjoy!
