Bloemen

Wederom met de Hero Arts shadow inkten gewerkt. 
De achtergrond bloemen stempel (HA Everything Flowers, CG513) is afgedrukt met soft lilac en hier daar accentjes aangebracht met bubble gum.
Voor de grote bloemen heb ik op een apart papier strook de inktpad bubblegum direct op het papier gesmeerd en daarna de bloemen (HA Stitched frame, CL527) met zwarte inkt gestempeld en uitgeknipt. Het hartje van de bloem bewerkt met glossy accents en er hele kleine kraaltjes in laten vallen

I have used again the Hero Arts shadow inks. The background flower stamp (HA Everything Flowers, CG513) is stamped with soft lilac and I've added some details with bubble gum color.
For the large flowers I have first used the direct to paper technique with the color bubble gum and than stamped with black the flowers (HA Stitched frame, CL527) and cut them out. The flower hearts are filled with tiny beads into the glossy accents.

Card Chain Challenge - July 2012

Afgelopen maand weer meegedaan aan de CCC challenge van Deborah. Dit is de kaart die ik gemaakt heb voor Lucille in de US.
De achtergrond is eerst bestempeld en daarna voorzien van een verdund laagje gesso en naast de bloem iets dikker aangebracht waardoor ik een stempel kon afdrukken in het nog zachte gesso.

Last month I joined again the CCC challenge of Deborah. This is the card I made for Lucille in the US.
I first stamped the background and added a thin layer of gesso and next to the flower I add some more gesoo, so that I was able to stamp in it while it was still smooth.

Een kaart gemaakt aan de hand van een van de Hero Arts maand lay-outs. Achtergrondpapier is gemaakt door distress inkten aan te brengen op een craftsheet en bemisten met wat water en dan het papier er door heen halen. De cirkels zijn gestempeld met een dop (alles kun je gebruiken bij het stempelen..). Aan de binnenkant van de cirkels een stippellijntje aangebracht met een witte gelpen. De vlinders zijn ook met distress inkten ingekleurd en bespoten met een beetje perfect pearls en voorzien van pareltjes.

Made a card based on the current month sketch layout. The background paper is done by adding distress ink directly on the craftsheet and misted with water. The circles are done with a lid (you really can use everything while stamping..). On the inside of the circles I added a dotted line with a white gelpen. The butterflies are also colored with distress inks and misted with some perfect pearls and added some pearls on the bodies.

Van de vorige kaart had ik nog wat inkt op het craftsheet over en dit was genoeg voor de achtergrond van deze ATC.
I had some ink leftovers on the craftsheet from the last card and this was enough to use for this ATC.

Dogwood

Een lekker zomers kaartje. Wild honey, mustard seed en broken china stains op crafsheet aangebracht en bemist met perfect pearls en het papier er in gedept. 
De achtergrond stempel afgedrukt met rusty hinge distress inkt en de dogwood stempel met distress inkt brushed corderoy en clear heat embossed. Daarna de bloemen ingekleurd met stains wild honey en mustard seed.


A real summer card. On a craft sheet added wild honey, mustard seed and broken china stains and sprayed with perfect pearls. Turned paper onto the craftsheet.
The background stamp is stamped with rusty hinge distress ink and the dogwood with brushed corderoy and clear heat embossed. Colored the flowers with stains wild honey and mustard seed.

ATC hortensia

De hortensia blijft toch mijn favoriete bloemenstempel. De stempel beinkt met verschillende kleurtjes distress inkt en afgedrukt en daarna met een waterpen nog een beetje verder ingekleurd. Maskertje eroverheen en de achtergrond gesponst in lichtblauw en daarna de french post stempel met tea dye er overheen gezet. Tekst erbij randjes aangezet en klaar!

Dit weekend geef ik samen met Bianca demonstraties aan de kraam van Helma Sprenger tijdens de Hobbyfestival beurs in de Flora Holland bloemenveiling in Bleiswijk. Heb je tijd en zin, kom gezellig langs!

The hydrangea stamp is still my favorite flower stamp. Inked the hydrangea with several colors of distress inks and stamped it and colored it a little bit with a waterbrush. Masked it and colored the background light blue and stamped the french post with tea dye over it. Added the text and colored the edges and the ATC is finished!

This weekend Bianca and me will be demonstrating at a hobbyfestival in Bleiswijk (The Netherlands...)

ATC Friends

De achtergrond is wit heat embossed en bewerkt met distress stains tumbled glass en broken china. De randen gesponst met distress inkt iced spruce. Daarna een laagje perfect pearls biscotti erover heen gespoten, geeft een hele mooie fijne glimmer. De bloem is gekleurd met wild honey en rusty hinge stains en wederom bewerkt met de perfect pearls biscotti. Het hart van de bloem voorzien van een knoopje (LilyPad challenge) en voorzien van enamel accents wit en zwart.

The background is white heat embossed and covered with distress stains tumbled glass and broken china. The borders are sponged with distress ink iced spruce. Than spritzed the whole background with perfect pearls biscotti, which gives a real smooth glimmer. The flower is colored with wild honey and rusty hinge stains and again covered with perfect pearls biscotti. A button is attached to the heart of the flower (LilyPad challenge) and added enamel accents white and black.
