Vandaag een vintage kerstkaart

Today I have a vintage look christmas card to share with you

De tak is gestempeld in een stempel platform, zodat je de stempel meerdere malen kan afdrukken op dezelfde plek. Ik heb de stempel be-inkt met distress markers en zo verschillende kleuren lagen kunnen aanbrengen. Als laatste laag heb ik de stempel iets bemist met water en afgedrukt zodat de reeds aangebrachte kleuren weer ge-activeerd werden en mooi in elkaar overvloeien.

The branch is stamped with help of a stamping platform, so that you can re-stamp it several times. I have used distress markers to ink up the stamp and created several layers of color. The final layer was stamped with a little spritz of water, so that all colors already stamped get re-activated by the water and blended smoothly. 



Daarna de stempel schoon gemaakt en deze weer gestempeld met Versamark en heat embossed met clear embossing poeder. Je kunt dan makkelijk de achtergrond blenden met kleur.

Than I cleaned the stamp and stamped it again with Versamark and heat set the image with clear embossing powder. You can than easily blend your background.



Om de achtergrond nog wat meer leven te geven heb ik de script stempel hier en daar afgedrukt en nog wat spetters toegevoegd.

I have added some interest to the background by stamping the script and added some splatters.

Inspirational Friday at Magenta with Mariette

Vandaag deel ik een kerst kaart met jullie, gemaakt met de nieuwe stempels en stencils van de Herfst & Kerst 2018 collectie

Today I have a christmas card to share with you with the new stamps and stencils from the Autumn & Christmas 2018 release

De poinsettia heb ik in de 2 tegen overliggende hoeken gestempeld met behulp van de Ranger stempelhulp. Zo kun je de stempel laten zitten en alleen je kaart 180 graden draaien.
  

I have stamped the Poinsettia in two opposite corners. I have used the Ranger stamp platform for this, so that you can leave your stamp in place and just turn your card 180 degrees.


De poinsettias zijn ingekleurd met distress inkten. De tekst in het midden gestempeld. En als laatste de "square silhouttte" stencil over de achtergrond gelegd en deze lichtjes gesponsd met scattered straw distress ink.

I have colored the Poinsettias with distress inks. Stamped the sentiment in the middle of the card. And finally I placed the Square Silhouette stencil on the background and sponged some scattered straw distress ink.

I like to show you that you do not need to have many Christmas related stamps to create Christmas cards.

One image and a sentiment is sufficient

The ornament and text is stamped with a silver ink and clear embossed. Colored the sentiment with distress inks and add some glitter with a Wink of Stella brush.

Traditional colors used for this one:

Also colored with distress inks and added some glossy accents on the berries.

Christmas card with new stencil

Hello crafters,
It's Mariëtte today to inspire you with a Christmas card created with one of the newly released stencils. 

I have applied versamark thru the stencil and heat embossed it with gold embossing powder. 

Next, I coloured the poinsettia's and background with Nuance. To do this, I sprinkled the colour on a craft sheet and added some water. With a brush, I started to colour in the poinsettia. 

Added some extra details with coloured pencils using a white gel pen. In the heart of the poinsettias, I did add some white enamel accents.

Achtergrond is gesponst met distress inkt en de vogel ingekleurd met een waterpen en distress inkten. Hier en daar wat inka gold aangebracht.

De kardinaal stempel van Magenta is verkrijgbaar bij www.stampingcorner.nl ! 
Zo ook de Inka gold, wederom een leuke pasta met veel mogelijkheden...

This time I have a super easy Christmas card to share with you:

Step by step instructions:

Ink up the small evergreen patch stamp with 3 different Memento colors green (pear tart, bamboo leaves, cottage ivy) and give it a little spritz of water out of a minimister before stamping it onto the white card.

Take some distress ink iced spruce with a waterpen and swip a line under the trees and blend out the color downwards.

Stamp the flock of geese with Memento gray fannel next to the trees
Do the same with the text, I only used english version of the multilingual Merry Christmas stamp by masking of the rest of the stamp with tape. Ink it up and remove the tape before stamping!

Add some snow on top of the hill to create some dimension.

ATC sneeuwpop

Allereerst heb ik hier de sneeuwpop gestempeld op het witte ATC kaartje en deze gemaskerd om zodoende met andere maskers de sneeuw heuvels te kunnen sponzen. De bomen zijn be-inkt met verschillende kleuren distress inkt en alvorens af te drukken bemist met wat water voor een aquarel effect.
De sneeuwman nog verder aangekleed dmv paperpiecing, maar ook hiervoor gestempeld papier voor gebruikt. Zijn lijfje nog een beetje aangezet met distress inkt kleur iced spruce. De sneeuwheuvels nog voorzien van een laagje sneeuw (met glitters) en uiteraard de lucht gesponst. 

Kerstkaart

De winter scene stempel van Hero Arts be-inkt met de distress markers en voor het afdrukken bemist met perfect pearl mist en deze afgedrukt in het gemaskerde kader. De lucht en de ondergrond gesponst met distress inkten en daarna de onderkant voorzien van een laagje sneeuw.

Inked up the winter scene stamp from Hero Arts with the distress markers and misted with some perfect pearl mix and stamped it within the masked border. Sponged the air and bottom with distress inks and added snow at the bottom of the border.

Kerstkaart

Een simpel kerstkaartje gemaakt. Het winterlandschap is gestempeld met versamark en clear embossed. Daarna met verschillende kleuren blauwe distress inkten gesponsd. Wat perfectpearl mist spetters op de lucht laten vallen en de onderkant van de kaart bewerkt met een laagje gesso en daarna nog wat glitter sneeuw aangebracht.

A quick and easy christmas card. The winter scene is stamped with versamark and clear heat embossed. Sponged several colors of blue distress inks. Added some spots of perfect pearl mist in the sky. And at the bottom added a layer of gesso and on top some glitter snow.

Kerstkaart

De krans is heat embossed met wit embossingpoeder en de nieuwe winter distress kleuren gebruikt. De uiltjes zijn nog bewerkt met perfect pearls en de oogjes hebben een laagje glossy accents. De achtergrond is na het sponzen nog voorzien van een laagje glimmermist. Jammer dat het niet te zien is op de foto.

The wreath is heat embossed with white embossing powder and I've used the winter distress inks. The owls are also colored with perfect pearls and glossy accents at the eyes. The background is after sponging sprayed with glimmermist. Unfortunately the picture did not captured the glimmers.
