Special time....

It's a special time.....dat is het wanneer ik mij terug trek in mijn hobby kamertje om te stempelen. En vaak heb ik gezelschap van een van mijn katten. Dit is Ukkie en zij vind het heerlijk om er bij te zijn, vooral als er met sponsjes gewerkt wordt, want dat is haar favoriete speeltje. Zelfs doosjes worden door haar opengewrikt als ze ruikt dat daar een sponsje in zit!

It's a special time.....yes that's really true when I am in my craftroom to do some stamping. And most of the time one of my cats will join me. This one is Ukkie (dutch for small one) and she loves it to join/help me, especially when I work with sponges, as that is her favorite toy. She even open boxes if she smells they are in it!

Special time

Bij deze kaart een kader gemaskerd met tape en gesponst met distress inkten peacock feathers en vintage photo. Bespoten met een mix van perfect pearls en water. Daarna het tape verwijderd en de watch gears en de special time tekst gestempeld met memento black.

With this card I started with masking the borders and sponging the inside with distress inks peacock feathers and vintage photo. Sprayed it with a mixture of perfect pearls and water. Removed the tape and stamped the watch gears and special time text with memento black.

ATC resist

De maandtechniek op de ATC stempelgroep is resist. Op deze ATC werkt de gesso als een resist. De gesso uitgesmeerd over het slangensjabloon en goed laten drogen. Distress inkten tumbled glass en wild honey met perfect pearls bespoten op een craftsheet en hier de ATC doorheen gehaald. Hier en daar de old french writing gestempeld met wild honey en zo ook een gedeelte van de klok. Tekst special time op een apart strookje gestempeld en verhoogd opgebracht. Vlinder gestempeld, ingekleurd en uitgeknipt. De randen voorzien van een doodle lijntje.

This month challenge at the ATC stamping group is the resist technique. On this ATC the gesso works as a resist. Smudged the gesso on the snake template and let it dried thoroughly. Added distress inks tumbled glass and wildhoney spritzed with perfect pearls at the craftsheet and turned around the atc into it. Stamped the old french writing here and there with wild honey and also stamped partly the clock. Text special time stamped on a white stroke and adhered with thick tape. Stamped, colored the butterfly and cut out. Add around the edges a doodle line.

Connected ATC's

Twee connected ATC's gemaakt. Op het bruine cardstock de newspaper gestempeld met archival coffee. De klok erop gestempeld met versamark en wit heat embossed. De klok op een apart wit karton gestempeld met archival coffee en bewerkt met stains, uitgekipt  en door de helft gesneden en op de ATCs geplakt. Tekst gestempeld op een aparte label en verhoogd opgeplakt. Randen aangezet met distress inkt.

I've made two connected ATC's. Stamped the newspaper with archival coffee on brown cardstock. Stamped the clock with versamark and white heat embossed. Stamped the clock again on separate white cardstock with archival coffee and colored it with distress stains. Cut it to the half and adhered it to the ATCs. The text is also stamped on a separate label and adhered with foam for depth. Sponged the edges with distress ink.
