Wintertafereel

Sommige stempels hebben niet veel nodig en hoef je alleen maar in te kleuren. Jaren geleden gekocht bij Sirius Hobby.

Verjaardagskaart

De cijfers 50 zijn heat embossed met een zilver giltterachtige embossingpoeder. 

Daarna pas gespoten met dylusions en achtereenvolgens bedekt met een laagje witte dylusions in combinatie met een stencil. 

De vlindertjes maken het geheel af.

The numbers are heat embossed with silver glittery embossing powder. Than sprayed with dylusions and another layer of white dylusions in combination with a stencil.

The butterflies are the finishing touch.

Deze maand op de ATC groep is de challenge om de boekpapier resist techniek te doen met wit embossingpoeder.

ATC tijger

Challenge Wicked Wednesday ATC: It's a jungle out there

De tijgerkop gestempeld met archival coffee en ingekleurd met distress inkten. Daarna gemaskerd en op de achtergrond cheetah stippen afgedrukt met de goosebumps dauber. De achtergrond verder gesponst met distress inkt (tumbled glass en crushed olive) en nogmaals de cheetah stippen afgedrukt met bruine distress inkt. Zo ook her en der de kat tekst stempel afgedrukt. Randen gedistressed en gemat op een bruin achtergrondje.

I've stamped the tiger head with archival coffee and colored with distress inks. Than masked it with post it and added at the background the cheetah dots with goosebumps dauber. Sponged the whole background with distress ink (tumbled glass and crushed olive) and again stamped the cheetah dots with brown distress ink. Also stamped the cat text randomly. Distressed the edges and added to a brown background.

Een kaartje voor twee hele goede vrienden :-)

Wederom de clear block techniek toegepast met distress inkten tumbled glass, broken china and picked raspberry. De mooie ranunculus field stempel van Stampendous erover heen gestempeld met memento black en deze ingekleurd met kleurpotloden. De bloemen daarna nog een beetje aangetipt met perfect pearl mix voor een extra glans. De tekst stempel is van Sirius Hobby en is gestempeld met hulp van de stempel lineaal zodat ik zeker wist dat deze recht zou staan :-)

A card for two very special friends :-)
Again I used the clear block technique with the distress inks tumbled glass, broken china and picked raspberry. The beautiful ranunculus field stamp of Stampendous stamped on it with memento black and colored this with colored pencils. Added some perfect pearl mixture on the flowers for extra shimmer. The text stamp is from Sirius Hobby and is stamped with a stamp ruler so that I know for sure it was stamped straight :-)

Vlinders

Wederom een vlinderkaart met distress inkten en de Lidl effect pasta.

Again a butterfly card with distress ink and the Lidl effect paste.

Vlinders a la Tim Holtz

Ge-inspireerd door de 3 vlinder stempel van Tim Holtz. Ik heb hem zelf niet maar des te leuker om met eigen stempels die look na te maken.

Inspired by the 3 butterfly stamp of Tim Holtz. I don't have it but it much more fun to create that look with my own stamps.

ATC acrylic crystal effect pasta

Op deze ATC gewerkt met de crystal pasta uit het setje van de Lidl. Eerst de hortensia gestempeld met distress inkten en ingekleurd.
De hortensia gemaskerd zodat ik de achtergrond kon kleuren en de achtergrond tekst er overheen kon stempelen. Daarna een laagje crystal pasta er over heen aangebracht met een oud pasje. Het is wit spul maar het droogt helder op, het legt als het ware een klein filmlaagje over je werk.
Heel mooi!

I worked with the crystal paste from the Lidl set on this ATC. First stamped the hydrangea with distress ink and colored it.
Masked the hydrangea so that I could color the background and stamp the background text on it. After that I adhered the crystal paste with on old credit card. It's white paste but it dries up clear. It leaves a very tiny layer on your art. Really very beautiful!

Ik ben een groot bewonderaar van het werk van Ellie Knol en haar kaart inspireerde mij tot deze ATC's. Alle stempels zijn van de nederlandse firma Sirius Hobby die helaas niet meer bestaat.

I really admire the beautiful art made by Ellie Knol and her card inspired me to create these ATCs. All stamps used comes from the Dutch company Sirius Hobby, which unfortunately does not exist anymore.

Rina Brokken van de Nederlands yahoo stempelgroep heeft onlangs een zoontje gekregen en daar hoort natuurlijk een kaartje bij. Ik heb geen baby stempels en heb daarom de ballonnen stempel gebruikt met wederom een distress ink achtergrond.


Rina Brokken of the Dutch yahoo stamping group has given birth to a son. As I do not have any baby stamps I used the baloon stamp with ofcourse a distress ink background.

In de weer geweest met gesso en distress inkten. Getracht om een stempel af te drukken in een laagje gesso, niet helemaal goed gelukt maar het geeft wel een leuk effect, helaas niet goed te zien op de foto.



I have been playing with gesso and distress inks. Tried to stamp an image in a small layer of gesso, but I did not succeed  totally, but it gives a nice touch. Unfortunately the picture doesn't catch it.
