Magenta Inspirational Friday with Mariëtte

One of Ellie's designs is a big floral background stamp, and this one is so easy to use in your art work.   

This time I stamped it with Versamark and heat set it with pearl shining embossing powder. Unfortunately this pearl effect is not really visible on the photo. 

I colored the background with several colors of distress inks, the embossing will work as a resist ofcourse.

My first Christmas card for this year

The poinsettias are colored with distress inks and the partial border is created by adding torned tape to the background and sponging the ink with a blending tool.

Added some pearls around the poinsettias and added some glitter with a wink of stella brush.

In the new Autumn and Christmas release Magenta has also included some beautiful flower stamps designed by Ellie Knol.
       

I have stamped the flowers with versamark and heatset it with pearl embossing powder. And than I started to color the flowers and background with distress inks.

This card is also entered in the Craft Stamper challenge of August

Inspirational Friday with Mariette / L'inspiration du vendredi avec Mariette

The apple blossom bouquet is one of my favorite Magenta flower stamp.  

Le bouquet de fleurs de pommiers est l'une de mes étampes de fleurs Magenta préférées.

On this card I colored the apple blossom with the ZIG markers and blended out the colors with a water brush.

Added the script in the background and white heat embossed the text on a black label. Some sequins here and there finishes off the card.

Sur cette carte, j'ai colorié la fleur de pomme avec les marqueurs ZIG et mélangé les couleurs avec un pinceau à eau.

Ajouté le script en arrière-plan et embossé en blanc le texte sur une étiquette noire. Des paillettes ici et là finissent la carte.
