ATC veldbloemen / wild flowers

Ik ben een groot bewonderaar van het werk van Ellie Knol en haar kaart inspireerde mij tot deze ATC's. Alle stempels zijn van de nederlandse firma Sirius Hobby die helaas niet meer bestaat.

I really admire the beautiful art made by Ellie Knol and her card inspired me to create these ATCs. All stamps used comes from the Dutch company Sirius Hobby, which unfortunately does not exist anymore.

Deze kaart heb ik ingezonden voor de Hero Arts sketch challenge bij Lilypad.

Ik heb hier met distress stains en inkten gewerkt. Wat een heerlijke uitvinding de stains, nu wil ik natuurlijk nog veel meer kleuren erbij hebben (heb er nog maar drie....)


Update: deze kaart is gekozen tot 1 van de 5 winnaars op de Hero Arts blog voor de september wedstrijd op Flickr. Wat een bofkont ben ik toch he?


Update: deze kaart is ook als winnaar uit de bus gekomen bij Lilypad! Een echte winnaarskaart dus :-)

I've used distress stains and inks. What a wonderful invention the stains, now I want to have more colors ofcourse (I only have three at the moment.....)

Lily Pad Cards and Hero Arts sketch challenge

Deze kaart heb ik ingestuurd voor de Lily Pad sketch challenge.

I have submitted this card to the Lily Pad sketch challenge.

De HA antique flower achtergrond stempel is afgedrukt met versamark en transparant ge-embossed. Daarna gesponst met de distress inkten scattered straw, wild honey, peeled paint, aged mahony en tea dye.

The HA antique flower background stamp is stamped with versamark and clear embossed. Sponged the background with distress inks scattered straw, wild honey, peeled paint, aged mahony and tea dye. 

De drie stroken zijn gekleurd met distress inkten wild honey, peeled paint en aged mahony en daarna bestempeld met HA old french handwriting stempel met memento inkt cocoa.

The three strokes are colored with distress ink wild honey,peeled paint and aged mahony and stamped the HA old french writing stamp with memento cocoa over it. 

De tekst is van Michele Marsden en met memento inkt cocao gestempeld op wit karton.

The text is from Michele Marsden and is stamped with memento cocoa on white card stock.

De HA artist vlinder is met memento inkt cocoa gestempeld en gekleurd met distress inkten wild honey, scattered straw en aged mahony. Daarover een laagje glimmermist rich gold gespoten. De vlinder nogmaals afgedrukt op transparant en daarna met glossy accents bevestigd op de gekleurde vlinder.

The HA artists butterfly is stamped with memento cocoa and colored with distress inks wild honey, scattered straw and aged mahony and added some shimmer mist rich gold on top of it. Stamp the butterfly again on accetate and attached it to the colored butterfly with some glossy accents.

Een echte mannen kaart met verschillende stempel technieken, waaronder resist, maskeren, embossing en clear blok.

Card Chain Challenge

Deze maand bij Lily Pad is de Card Chain Challenge de keuze uit een lay-out of een kleuren combinatie. Ik heb gekozen voor de layout

This month with Lily Pad the card chain challenge you can choose between a color palette or a sketch. I have choosen for the sketch and this is the final result.

Vlinders en nog eens vlinders

Eind augustus heb ik meegedaan met de 90 minutes scramble van Hero Arts. De uitdaging was om met je eerste en eventueel laatste gekochte Hero Arts stempel een kaart te maken binnen 90 minuten.
Mijn eerste HA stempel is de vlinder set LL763 en mijn laatste aanschaf de plaid achtergrond stempel S5447. Vandaag een tekst toegevoegd omdat ik zeer binnenkort een verjaardagskaart nodig heb :-) 
Ook heb ik met deze kaart mee gedaan aan de Lily Pad resist techniek wedstrijd.

I joined the Hero Arts 90 minutes scramble end of August. The challenge was to make a card within 90 minutes with your first and latest purchased Hero Arts stamp. My first HA stamp is the butterfly set LL763 and the latest purchase the plaid background stamp S5447. Today I added a text as I need a birthday card real soon.
I also joined the Lily Pad resist technique challenge with this card.

Rina Brokken van de Nederlands yahoo stempelgroep heeft onlangs een zoontje gekregen en daar hoort natuurlijk een kaartje bij. Ik heb geen baby stempels en heb daarom de ballonnen stempel gebruikt met wederom een distress ink achtergrond.


Rina Brokken of the Dutch yahoo stamping group has given birth to a son. As I do not have any baby stamps I used the baloon stamp with ofcourse a distress ink background.

Lach en geniet

Resist techniek
Wederom een resist techniek met clear embossing en distress inkten in warme herfsttinten....past wel een beetje bij het weer van deze dagen :-(
Stempels zijn van Hero Arts en Almeria Art. 
Met deze kaart heb  ik meegedaan met de Lily Pad resist techniek wedstrijd.

Again another card with the resist technique with clear embossing and distress inks in the warm colors of autumn.......which fits the weather we have here currently :-(
