Indigoblu challenge - guestpost

Today at Indigoblu a new month challenge has started and it's all about:

'All things bright and beautiful'

I was invited to make a card to go alongside with the DT inspiration work for this challenge and here is my take:

I have used distress inks for the bright part and for the beautiful part of this challenge I used all of the IndigoBlu stamps I chose for my winning prize:

Stencilen met gesso, een vrij makkelijke techniek in combinatie met distress inkten. Op de kaart heb ik gesso aangebracht op het kippengaas stencil.

Stenciling with gesso, an easy resist technique in combination with distress ink. On this card I adhered gesso on the chicken wire stencil.

De achtergrond is opgebouwd met stempels en stencils. De insecten gekleurd met polychromos kleurpotloden.

The background is build up with stamps and stencils.
The insects are colored with colored pencils.

Edelstenen tekenen en kleuren. Ook leuk om te doen!

Ingekleurd met polychromos potloden en rondom maar wat gedoodled.

Het is een label voor een fles wijn, een perfect bedanktje voor een man!

It is a label for a bottle of wine, a perfect thank you gift for a man!

Lach en geniet!

Nuance bloemen op een achtergrond van distress inkt.

Nuance flowers on a distress ink background.

De bloemen zijn met versamark gestempeld en ge-embossed met witte embossing poeder. De bloemen ingekleurd met Nuance Aquamarine en iets meer detail aangebracht met polychromos potloden.

The flowers are stamped with versamark and heatset with white embossing powder. Colored the flowers with Nuance Aquamarine and added some fine details with polychromos pencils.

De zeepbellen zijn ook afgedrukt met versamark en met witte embossingpoeder verhit. Details toegevoegd met de polychromos kleurpotloden.

The soapbubbles are also stamped with versamark and heatset with a white embossing powder. Added some details to it with the polychromos pencils as well.
The Dutch sentiment means: Laugh and enjoy!

A dream

De achtergrond is gemaakt met Nuance Aquamarine en opgebouwd met verschillende stempels.

The background is created with Nuance Aquamarine and build up with
 several stamps.

De vlinders zijn gekleurd met de Zig Clean Clear Brush pennen.

The butterflies are colored with the Zig Clean Clear Brush pens.

ATC Butterfly

Dit is een van de ATC die ik heb gemaakt voor de 2016 Magenta ATC Swap.

Ook hier weer een stukje structuur behang gebruikt!
Wat kleur en achtergrond stempels toegevoegd.

The background is an sample from wallpaper and it's structured!
Added some color to it and some background stamps.

Op aquarel papier de vlinder gestempeld en gekleurd. Uitgeknipt en op de achtergrond geplakt.

On a separate piece of aquarel paper I stamped and colored the butterfly and cut it out to adhere it on the background.

De achtergrond is een stukje behang en heeft structuur (Deze proefstukjes kun je bij de bouwmarkten bemachtigen....) 
Ik heb wat kleur en achtergrond stempels toegevoegd.

The background is an sample from wallpaper and it's structured!
Added some color to it and some background stamps.

Op aquarel papier de klaprozen gestempeld en gekleurd. Uitgeknipt en op de achtergrond geplakt.

On a separate piece of aquarel paper I stamped and colored the poppies and cut those out to adhere them on the background.
