Hello lovely crafters, today I share a mixed media project with you.
Een groot bruin vel van karton heb ik beplakt met boekpapier en zelf gestempeld tisuue papier. En dit dan bedekt met een dun laagje gesso.
A large piece of brown cardstock is covered with book papers and self stamped tissue paper, which is than covered with a thin layer of gesso.
Hier bovenop heb ik de mandala masker gelegd en er structuur pasta doorheen gehaald.
On top of this I placed the mandala mask on top of it and adhered a layer of structure paste thru it.

Zodra de achtergrond droog is gestart met het op kleur brengen met distress oxide sprays en neocolor II krijtjes. Tevens op de achtergrond gestempeld en gestencild.
Once all is dry on the background I start coloring it with distress oxide sprays and neocolor crayons. Did some stamping and stenciling on the background too.
De vlinder gestempeld op apart stukje papier, gekleurd in dezelfde kleuren als de achtergrond. Deze uitgeknipt en met touw erachter op de achtergrond geplakt als zijnde mijn focal point.
Stamped the butterfly on a seperate piece of paper and colored it in the same colors as used in the background. Fussy cut it out and adhered it on twine onto the background as my focal point.
