Winter Scene By Mariëtte van Leeuwen - DT Magenta   Step-by-step instructions You will need: White cardstock  Distress ink: - Seedless Preserves - Salty Ocean - Iced Spruce - Mermaid Lagoon Versafine Onyx Black Ink White acrylic marker And these Magenta's products     Stamp 42.186.E Link to the store,  click here Stamp 0706.I Link to the store, click here Stamp 0656.M Link to the store, click here   Stencil   TM 40   Link to the store, click here    1. Use a die or punch to cut a circle out of masking paper. Place this circle mask on your card toward the top. . Place the Magenta stencil (TM40) at the bottom of your card to create the horizon.  Apply Seedless Preserves Distress Ink with a blending tool just above the mask 3. Take the reverse Magenta stencil and place this on the top side of your horizon and apply Iced Spruce Distress Ink with a blending tool. 5. Place the same stencil from Step 1 back on your snow bank, just a little bit lower, so that you see a small strip of grey. We are going to stamp the trees on top of it, and since the stencil is a little thick, the stamp will not hit the card right above your stencil. Stamp the Small Evergreen Patch with Versafine Onyx Black Ink.   2. Apply Salty Ocean Distress Ink with a blending tool to the top of your card and blend the color in with the Seedless Preserves.   4. Place another stencil from the set on the grey area to create snow banks, also by applying Iced Spruce Distress Ink with a blending tool. Remove the circle mask. 6. Remove the stencil. Stamp the fir tree with Versafine Onyx Black Ink in the lower left corner and stamp it again on some masking paper. Cut out the image from the masking paper and place it on your stamped image on your card. Stamp the fir tree again to the right and a little bit lower. 7. Stamp the little deer family with Versafine Onyx Black Ink on the snow bank. You can make a mask from one torn paper to have the legs of the biggest deer disappear in the snow bank. 9. Add some white dots in the sky with a Sharpie pen for some snowflakes. You can now assemble your card.     8. Add some Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink with a blending tool around the top edges for extra depth.  Voilà! Happy creation! Mariëtte van Leeuwen - DT Magenta

Resist technique with stencil

A resist technique with a stencil, by applying versamark thru the stencil and heatset it with clear embossing powder.

Een resist techniek met een stencil door versamark er doorheen aan te brengen.  En dan met clear embossingpoeder met de heattool te verhitten. 

Build up the background with Nuance powder, stencils and stamps.

De achtergrond is opgebouwd met Nuance poeder, stencils en stempels.

The stamped images are heaset with a shimmery embossing powder, to give the fireworks look more sparkle, which you can see in the detailed picture below.

De stempelafdrukken zijn ge-embossed met een glimmer embossing poeder, om zo het vuurwerk meer glinstering te geven. Je ziet dit duidelijker op de detail foto.

Life is beautiful

I love butterflies and this Zen butterfly created by DT member Dianne is such a beauty. I have given it a thick layer of UTEE embossing powder and that really pops the color.

Ik ben weg van vlinders en deze Zen vlinder ontworpen door mijn co DT member Dianne is echt een beauty. Ik heb de vlinder voorzien van een dikke laag UTEE embossing poeder en dat zorgt ervoor dat de kleurenpracht er echt uitspringt.

Merry Christmas

A winter night during Christmas...

Een winternacht bij Kerst....

The sky is created with distress inks (everbough green, iced spruce and faded jeans) in combination with distress stains brushed pewter which gives it a nice glittery shine

De lucht is gemaakt met distress inkten (everbough green, iced spruce and faded jeans) in combinatie met de distress stain brushed pewter. De pewter geeft het geheel een hele mooie glitter glans.

The trees and ornaments are stamped with versamark ink and white heat embossed.   

De bomen en het ornament zijn met versamark inkt afgedrukt en met witte embossing poeder verhit.

I created a little scenery in a Christmas ornament with some beautiful Magenta stamps.

Christmas card

On this card I did some masking and watercolor stamping. I was inspired by Dina Kowal.

De masker techniek en aquarel techniek toegepast op deze kaart. Ik werd door Dina Kowal ge-inspireerd.

I added some extra shimmer to the Christmas ornament with a Wink of Stella brush.

StampingCorner Roos

Wat een prachtige stempel is de roos van StampingCorner

Ik heb de stempel be-inkt met distress markers en alvorens af te drukken lichtjes bemist met water. Daarna met een nat penseeltje de kleur uitgeblend en hier en daar nog extra kleur toegevoegd. 

Over de blaadjes ook nog wat glimmer aangebracht met de wink of stella pen.

Een heel romantish kaartje is het geworden.
